December Happenings, Its All About Charity!
11th December 2009, Friday
It was our 3rd Annual Festive Lunch with the 12 residents and 2 caretakers from Rumah Bakti Harapan at Dynasty Restaurant, Promenade Hotel Kota Kinabalu in conjunction with Christmas and New Year Celebration.
The 12 residents, age range between 19-40 years suffered mentally and physically challenged residents were treated with Dim Sum Lunch and surprised with the appearance of Santa Claus and Santa-Rina distributing Christmas goodies consists of a hamper and cookies for each of them.
Despite the consistent support by Promenade Hotel Kota Kinabalu, the President of the home, Mr. Ginantar Balud would gladly welcome any form of contributions as the home depends on it from the general public for their daily operational needs. The Sales & Marketing Team had a Christmas Delivery & Christmas Caroling to the Travel Agents, Tourism Organization and The Press to distribute Christmas goodies consist of delicious cakes,pastries, chocolates and puddings personally made by our talented Pastry Chef, Chef Pritchard Ligadu.
To name a few, we paid a visit to Asia Times, Borneo Post, New Sabah Times, Daily Express, Sabah Tourism and Tourism Malaysia. It was a good and enjoyable experience to be greeted by the sporting team from each organizations!

We'll be expecting Adik Nur Hidayah Aziz, 17 years for a trip to Kota Kinabalu, Sabah with her mother from 26th - 28th December 2009. She'll be staying with us through out her visits to KK. She has been diagnosed with bone cancer which has spread to her lungs and ribs.
From the help of Children Wish Society of Malaysia, Air Asia and Sabah Tourism, Hidayah's wish came true. Join Children's Wish Society of Malaysia in Facebook to support and put a smile on the children's faces.
Join us in wishing her well and for her to have a great trip to the Land below the Wind this coming week!!!

Last Friday, 4th December 2009 was the 1st Facebook Fan Get-Together Party themed Glamour Nite-Red Carpet & Paparazzi. The event went smooth and we received a fantastic support from the fans! We would like to thank everyone who made this event a success!

Promenade Hotel Kota Kinabalu ushered in the Mid-Autumn or Mooncake Festival with a delectable array of its very own traditional and classic mooncakes. Our team of creative pastry chefs presented 10 types of mooncakes to fulfill the personal preference and individual tastebuds of mooncake lovers. Reasonably priced from RM34++ per box onwards, the delightful mooncakes are hygienically packed in premium limited edition gift boxes, perfect as a gift to friends and families or token of affection for your loved ones! Getting to know Promenade Hotels

Promenade Hotels, Apartments and Condominiums are a hospitality wing in a construction based company under ‘Tokojaya Group of Companies’ which includes:

Promenade Hotel Kota Kinabalu was officially opened on 17th August 1997 by Malaysia’s ex-Prime Minister Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad. The 4-star with 451 rooms/ suites Business Class Hotel remains a popular destination amongst locals, expatriates and tourists as everything is centrally located and just within one’s reach.
Promenade Hotel Apartments was completed between 1994- 1995, which is part and parcel of the 5 blocks of Api-Api Shop lots and Apartments at Api-Api Centre. The apartments design type consists of Studio, 1 Bedroom, 2-Bedroom, 3-Bedroom & Penthouse, which are most sold to independent owners. Today, it is only operating Studio and Family Suites as service apartments. It’s located on a prime location within the central business district where all conveniences are easily accessible.
Marina Court Resort Condominium has 4 blocks condominium, which is adjacent to the 4-star Promenade Hotel Kota Kinabalu, has a total of 452 units of which 96 units are currently available for rent on a daily and monthly basis.
