It was our 3rd Annual Festive Lunch with the 12 residents and 2 caretakers from Rumah Bakti Harapan at Dynasty Restaurant, Promenade Hotel Kota Kinabalu in conjunction with Christmas and New Year Celebration.

The 12 residents, age range between 19-40 years suffered mentally and physically challenged residents were treated with Dim Sum Lunch and surprised with the appearance of Santa Claus and Santa-Rina distributing Christmas goodies consists of a hamper and cookies for each of them.

Despite the consistent support by Promenade Hotel Kota Kinabalu, the President of the home, Mr. Ginantar Balud would gladly welcome any form of contributions as the home depends on it from the general public for their daily operational needs. The Sales & Marketing Team had a Christmas Delivery & Christmas Caroling to the Travel Agents, Tourism Organization and The Press to distribute Christmas goodies consist of delicious cakes,pastries, chocolates and puddings personally made by our talented Pastry Chef, Chef Pritchard Ligadu.

To name a few, we paid a visit to Asia Times, Borneo Post, New Sabah Times, Daily Express, Sabah Tourism and Tourism Malaysia. It was a good and enjoyable experience to be greeted by the sporting team from each organizations!

We'll be expecting Adik Nur Hidayah Aziz, 17 years for a trip to Kota Kinabalu, Sabah with her mother from 26th - 28th December 2009. She'll be staying with us through out her visits to KK. She has been diagnosed with bone cancer which has spread to her lungs and ribs.

Our team of creative pastry chefs presented 10 types of mooncakes to fulfill the personal preference and individual tastebuds of mooncake lovers. Promenade Hotels, Apartments and Condominiums are a hospitality wing in a construction based company under ‘Tokojaya Group of Companies’ which includes:

Promenade Hotel Kota Kinabalu was officially opened on 17th August 1997 by Malaysia’s ex-Prime Minister Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad. The 4-star with 451 rooms/ suites Business Class Hotel remains a popular destination amongst locals, expatriates and tourists as everything is centrally located and just within one’s reach.

Promenade Hotel Apartments was completed between 1994- 1995, which is part and parcel of the 5 blocks of Api-Api Shop lots and Apartments at Api-Api Centre. The apartments design type consists of Studio, 1 Bedroom, 2-Bedroom, 3-Bedroom & Penthouse, which are most sold to independent owners. Today, it is only operating Studio and Family Suites as service apartments. It’s located on a prime location within the central business district where all conveniences are easily accessible.

Promenade Hotel Tawau is the latest addition in the Promenade chain of hotels. This 4-star Business Class Hotel is the tallest hotel in Sabah with 16 floors that is adjacent to the biggest shopping centre in Tawau (known as Eastern Plaza Shopping Complex). It has the biggest ballroom in Tawau that accommodates up to 1,100 banquet guests and boasts the biggest and most comprehensive gymnasium in Tawau.
